WHAT IS "FLIPPED CLASSROOM"?

Hello friends,

      Have you ever heard about "Flipped Classroom" before?

      It sounds interesting, right? I feel as if I am haering you saying "yes". Let's learn what it is. A flipped classroom is an instructional strategy and a type of blended learning, which aims to increase student engagement and learning by having students complete readings at their home and work on live problem-solving during class time.

 

           On behalf of this subject, my pair Elif and I have created a Flipped Vocabulary Teaching video. We have put so much effort on it. We have chosen the topic named Weathers&Emotions. The video turned out to be pretty fun to watch. The site that we made the video on is called Animaker. It is a nice site except for its charging money to download the video. That's why we couldn't download the video and make it watchable on youtube. Instead we will embed the link of the video here.

 

         Our video consists of weather names and how we feel during these weathers. We made it as fun as possible to learn.

 

            Are you considering flipping your classroom? There are many ways to get started. We suggest developing a flipped classroom strategy that you can build upon over time. Experimentation with different methods and ideas will be key for you to learn quickly and iterate.
